Permitting projects for three new Offshore Wind Farms in Spain

Permitting projects for three new Offshore Wind Farms (OWFs) in the Spanish waters according to R.D. 1028/2007 and RD 1955/2000. The projects are structured in two phases, a first one for obtaining the Reserve Area and a second one for the Administrative Authorisation. SENER will support the Client in all the permitting process until the approval by the Spanish Authorities of the Administrative Authorisation Project.
The projects include the conceptual design of one of the first commercial OWF in Spain based on a floating solution due to the important depths where they will be located. The conceptual design of the turbines, floating turbines foundation and its mooring system, cables and other electrical facilities will be carried out as part of the permitting projects.
